My name is Craig, and sports have been a part of my life ever since I can remember. I was born into a family that loved sports. Naturally, being around it at such an early age helped me develop a passion and adoration for it.
I was fortunate enough to play baseball at Morehead State University. I played at the NCAA Division 1 level in college as a relief pitcher, winning a conference championship and playing in the NCAA tournament during my time in college. After college, I became a teacher and was asked to help coach my school’s baseball team. At first, I did not want to coach because I thought it would make me miss my playing days too much. However, I could not have been more wrong. I coached for six years, one at the middle school level and five at high school. I can honestly say that I enjoyed teaching the game just as much as I enjoyed playing it.
In my free time, I love spending time with my wife and my son who is almost two years old. I also enjoy keeping up with the NFL and whatever other sport is in season. I can’t remember a time in my life where I was not involved in sports in some way. I also developed a love for writing at a young age, so this job is a natural fit for me.
